Recipes for Creative HealingI did the cover art and graphic design for a limited edition digital and print recipe book. In January 2021, over 30 people gathered virtually at a retreat for teaching artists who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color. We gathered from different parts of Washington state in order to support each other by participating in creative practices that focus on wellness. Participants were invited to share their own practices in the form of a “recipe,” with instructions so we can each try to expand our own repertoires for self-care. I scanned the recipe cards that were submitted, and compiled them into a recipe book.

Ingersoll Physics MuseumIn 2014, I redid the signage for the Ingersoll Physics Museum at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When I came in, the medium exhibit signs had a lot of text with very small font. I rewrote the signs to use simplified, inquiry-based language and created a small booklet for each exhibit.
