Integrative Biology

I worked with a biomedical engineer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on creating a graphic representation of his work. We worked together on transforming his production-based 3d model into a rendered image. We sketch through a few ideas for how to represent the experiment from there. This was the image chosen.
Picture
Integrative Biology featured my illustration on their front cover in the spring of 2016. This image accompanies the paper MicroC3: an ex vivo microfluidic cis-coculture assay to test chemosensitivity and resistance of patient multiple myeloma cells.
